Why visit Khajjiar ????????????

Khajjiar Khajjiar  is a hill station in Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh, India, located approximately 24 kilometers (15 mi) from Dalhousie. It is a very beautiful place in India to visit at least once in a lifetime. Khajjiar sits on a small plateau with a small stream-fed lake in the middle that has been covered over with grass. The hill station is surrounded by deodar trees. It is about 2,000 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Dhauladhar ranges of the Western Himalayas and peaks can be seen in the distance. It is part of the  Khajjiar Sanctuary. Khajjiar can be reached from Dalhousie, the nearest major town and hill station, by bus in an hour or so. It has a rare combination of three ecosystems: lake, pasture, and forest. DHARAMSALA Dharamshala  (also Dharamsala ) is the district headquarters of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Kangra District was part of the British province of Punjab. The administrative headquarters of the district were initially at Kangra but were moved to Dharamshala in 1855. Dharamshala is 18 km (11 mi) from Kangra. In common Hindi usage, the word  Dharamshala  refers to a shelter or rest house for spiritual pilgrims.
